The ponds let creek water soak into the ground to refill the aquifer. Most of Campbell’s small water area is these ponds. The park around them, by Highway 17, is the largest park in Campbell, with fishing, a casting pond and a dog park, and Inspiration Point at Edith Morley Park overlooks them.
