Los Gatos Creek County Park
South of Campbell Park, the creek trail passes the percolation ponds that locals call the Perc Ponds, inside Los Gatos Creek County Park, the largest park in Campbell.

Discover Los Gatos Creek County Park
Most of Campbell’s water area is its percolation ponds, and the ponds along Los Gatos Creek are known locally as the Perc Ponds. The largest park in Campbell is Los Gatos Creek County Park, near Highway 17. (Wikipedia)
The ponds are part of the groundwater recharge system the water district built after the valley floor was found to be sinking from groundwater pumping; the sinking was stopped by the 1980s. (Wikipedia)
The park has fishing, a casting pond and a dog park, with entrances at 120 Knowles Drive, on Lost Lake Lane and at 980 Camden Avenue, and a bridge to the trails around the two large ponds on the east bank. (Wikipedia)
Inspiration Point at Edith Morley Park looks out over the ponds; it is named for Gordon Reynolds, who helped save four acres of the old Winchester Drive-In site for the park. (City of Campbell)
