Hyde Park

The small park at the foot of the water tower, on the site of the 1890s water company plant.

The park at Orchard City Drive and South First Street holds the 1928 tower and its 1927 pump house. The San Jose Water Company gave the site to the city, and it was dedicated as Hyde Park on April 26, 1995, named for the Hyde family who ran the water company from 1918.
