Country Woman’s Club

The women’s club, founded in 1905, that gave Campbell its library and its history museum.

The club formed in 1905 to support cultural programs and the town library, which it housed in a small wooden building from 1907. In 1923 it built a Spanish Colonial Revival clubhouse at 274 East Campbell Avenue that held the library until the 1960s.

In 1964 the club started the Campbell Historical Museum. It still holds an annual crab and pasta dinner to raise funds for Campbell projects.
